Supporting The Ark

Our mission at The Ark is to create innovative high quality arts experiences for all children. Your support is invaluable in helping us to achieve our goal.

As an independent, non-profit charity, The Ark funds its activities from the valuable support received from public funds, business sponsorship, donations from individuals, trusts, foundations and companies and earned income from admission charges.

Each year some 22,000 children and 5,000 adults visit The Ark to experience one or more of The Ark's programmes in theatre, music, opera, visual art, animation and dance.

The outreach projects of The Ark take this work further by ensuring that children from different social, economic and geographic backgrounds can also benefit from The Ark experience. ArkLink works with children in areas of social and economic disadvantage. The Healing Ark uses the arts to benefit the physical and psychological environment of childrenês hospitals and directly engages with children in a number of healthcare environments. Mobile Ark is a touring service dedicated to bringing the work of The Ark to a wide variety of cities and towns across Ireland. Ark.ie focuses on the development of the Arkês website, enabling us to bring The Ark into the homes and schools of children throughout Ireland and around the world.

It is our policy to ensure that The Ark remains affordable to all children. Ticket prices are kept as low as possible for all children and families, and we have a special scheme to ensure that disadvantaged schools, and schools from outside Dublin, can avail of a 20% ticket price reduction.

We are extremely grateful to all Individuals, Companies, Sponsors and other supporters of The Ark without whom we would be unable to continue to enrich children's lives.
