The Mobile Ark

The Mobile Ark is the touring division of The Ark, bringing the work of The Ark to theatres and arts centres around Ireland and beyond. The Mobile Ark was established in 1999 as an outreach initiative of The Ark Cultural Trust for Children.

The Mobile Ark has travelled all over the country with theatrical productions, musical performances, exhibitions/workshops and entire festivals. As well as touring Ireland, the Ark has been to England, Scotland, America and Poland. We are actively seeking to increase our touring output in the immediate future, and proposed projects include a tour of Northern Ireland and a trip to America with ‘blowfish’, which completed a hugely successful national tour earlier this year.
