Once upon a time Mr. Muffin was young, strong and proud. He could even
carry a whole cucumber on his back! Now he’s old, grey and tired. He
sits alone in his house reminiscing.
He’s had a good life, better than most...
He makes a list: 1 very wise and kind wife; 1 little house with its own mail
box; 4 furry little ones; and sometimes mail in the mail box.
In an atmosphere of warmth and humour, Goodbye Mr. Muffin tells the story
of the last days in the life of a beloved guinea pig. This uplifting and
life-affirming show was awarded Best Children’s Theatre Performance
2005/06 by the Association of Danish Theatre Societies.
Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival and The Ark, A Cultural Centre for
Children regret to announce the cancellation of the Festival performances
of Goodbye Mr Muffin. The ship carrying all the set, scenery and props from
its recent performances in Japan, has been delayed in transit and regrettably
will not arrive in Dublin for its scheduled Festival performances. A full
refund will be offered to all patrons who have booked for the show. We apologise
for any inconvenience caused.

about distinguishing between good and evil and about cleaning up life’s
confusing messes.
The darkest of The Brothers Grimm fairy tales is brought to hair-raising
life in this magical tale of gluttony and fright!
Prepare to be brought on a new adventure of gingerbread houses, windows made
of sugar and mischievous little ladies!
