Director and choreographer: Hélène Blackburn

Come with us to a world where dreams and reality collide. Join The Ugly Ducklings’ Dancing Cabaret as it weaves together inventive, high energy dance, catchy tunes and stories we all know and love into an absorbing spectacle. Let the Cabaret whisk you up and away . . . the only question is, will you still know where the illusions lie? Blending The Ugly Duckling and Swan Lake, six dancers and a Master of Ceremonies perform short vignettes with all the style of a 1920s German cabaret.

The Ugly Ducklings’ Dancing Cabaret was created in collaboration with La Place des Arts, Tangente, the Programme de soutien L’École montréalaise du Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport and the Conseil des Arts de Montréal.

Post Show Discussion with Hélène Blackburn and Cas Public’s dancers: Sunday 10 May after the 4pm performance
