As
part of Dublin’s annual Culture Night, The Ark will join other
arts organisations throughout Dublin by opening its doors late into
the evening. On Culture Night at The Ark you can meet Yvonne Cullivan,
Artist in Residence 2007, and see examples of her collaborative artwork
with children. You can also learn more about the process behind Grounded,
The Ark’s theatre production for Dublin Fringe Festival 2007,
through a discussion with writer/director Róise Goan.
The Ark is housed on the site of a former Presbyterian Meeting House (1728) and is home to an indoor theatre, an outdoor amphitheatre, gallery spaces and a workshop, designed for children, in the heart of the Cultural Quarter. For more information about Dublin’s free late night cultural events for all the family, visit www.culturenight.ie or call into the Temple Bar Cultural Information Centre at 12 East Essex Street.
