Inklings will inspire 8–12 year olds of all abilities to awaken their imaginations through the creation of a picture book. Artists Liz Smith and Laura De Búrca will guide children through illustrating and writing their very own original stories, then binding their book with hand-made silk paper. The children will create their own, beautifully produced book to keep forever. By the end of the workshop each child will have become an illustrator, author and book-binder!

of The Ark’s flagship projects for The Year of Childhood 2007.
