A Picture of Me is a new play written and
performed by Louis Lovett, whose relationship with The Ark is long
established. This is a co-production with Solstice Arts Centre
in Navan, where the show will tour in early January.
This is the story of P, a very particular man, as he gets ready for
Christmas – his favourite time of year. See P as he prepares
his Christmas turkey and sings along to his favourite Christmas songs.
He's so excited about Christmas but he's also a little sad. Why? Well,
let's see...
A Picture of Me is a magical portrayal of one man’s
expectations of the yuletide season. P helps us to think about what
it means to have our nearest and dearest with us at this very special
time of year.
»Shows are scheduled over the Christmas break to provide you with a non- commercial activity to enjoy with your family over the holidays.
»This production makes links to the SPHE curriculum (Me, myself and others) in its portrayal of a man’s relationship with himself and the world around him.
