Make your very own textured landscape and watch it come to life with the many textured materials on offer. Feel your way through rivers, rocks, mountains and sky – or any scenery you might imagine.
Use mirrors and card to construct a periscope. Decorate your periscope with crayons, glitter, sequins, see-through and reflective materials - and your own ideas - as you discover a new way of seeing.
Inspired by sound, construct a wind chime from willow and ‘found’ materials such as bells, crockery, cutlery and copper tubes - see what musical sounds you can make. Investigate these noisy materials and choose your favourites to add to your wind chime.

Create an imaginary creature from fabric and stuff it with natural fragrances like mint, chamomile or coffee. Add eyes, tentacles, tails, legs and arms to give your smelly monster a personality to match its perfume.
ARTIST Jane Groves was educated in textile design at the Chelsea School of Art. Her work is a natural fusion of textile, jewellery and costumes. She has exhibited and commissioned extensively in New Zealand, where she lived for many years. Since moving to Ireland she has dressed sets at numerous high profile music events, including Electric Picnic, and participated in the Craft in the Classroom scheme run by the Crafts Council of Ireland. She is currently working with children in Pine Forest Art School as well as on her own body of work.
