Spring Visual Arts Workshop Programme 2010

Due to the great success of recent pop-up workshops, The Ark has programmed three brand new pop-up workshops, with artist Liz Smith, for the spring season. Why not participate in all three? You’ll explore the art of pop-up and discover how to construct impressive 3D pop-ups with impact and movement by using a variety of papers, cards and creative techniques.

Animal Magic - with artist Liz Smith

Construct a moving pop-up illustration of your favourite wild animal or even create a brand new species of your own. Think about where your animal might live, what it might eat and what it is called – then use your pop-up skills to bring your new animal to life.

Schools Workshops
Junior Infants – Senior Infants:	Tuesday 25 – Friday 28 May	10am & 11.30am (1 hour)
1st – 3rd Class:	Tuesday 1 – Friday 4 June	10am (2 hours)
4th – 6th Class:	Tuesday 8 – Friday 11 June	10am (2 hours)
